Ce roman est vraiment très banal, un peu plat, sans grand intérêt (ça peut paraître négatif ce que je dis, mais ça ne l’est pas) Il n’est ni bon ni mauvais mais sans grande saveur quoi … 500 pages à lire une histoire comme ça c’est un poil long ! Je lu en VO, et c’est un livre très abordable, le style d’écriture est très agréable.

Mais la ou le bat blesse c’est que les personnages sont un peu insipides. Le personnage d’Andy est plat, elle a une psychose quand au fait de l’avenir de ses relations amoureuses et fait en sorte de saboter le truc, on ne sait en revanche pas trop pourquoi elle fait ça même si elle tente de l’expliquer…
Clark est le cliché du chic type timide et gaffeur et un peu nerd sur les bords…
La petite bande d’amis d’Andy est sympathique mais sans grand intérêt non plus, ils aiment aller en soirée, et se retrouver pour papoter … et voilà, ça s’arrête là. Ils ne sont donc pas attachants voir même un peu égoïstes sur les bords parfois (C’est l’adolescence dira-t-on).

L’histoire d’amour, entre Clark et Andy, est mignonne mais encore une fois sans grand intérêt et finalement le truc le plus intéressant c’est la relation qu’Andy a avec son père, ou plutôt la reconnexion d’une fille et son père et ça c’était mignon à souhait !
